About FEED
FEED began in 2020 at Texas A&M University during the Covid epidemic as FEED MAROON. We started with raising funds to feed 10 Aggies for 10 days which evolved to us feeding 30 Aggies for 30 days, and finally over 200 Aggies, and 600 campus workers in a matter of weeks. FEED is the product of years of hard work, integrity, and commitment to ensure that when the community is hurting the most, they are never far from home.
Goal One — Identify & Mobilize
We rapidly locate the communities most impacted by crises — government shutdowns, natural disasters, or infrastructure failures — and assess immediate nutritional needs.
Key Actions:
Establish direct communication with base/agency leaders, shelters, and relief hubs
Deploy volunteer teams and partner organizations on the ground
Confirm how many people require meals, groceries, and essential supplies
Prioritize the most vulnerable: children, elderly, and displaced families
➡ Purpose: Know exactly who needs help and how fast.
Goal 2 — Deliver Food & Essentials
We provide fresh meals, grocery support, and emergency food kits through a scalable, logistics-driven distribution model.
Key Actions:
Set up mobile service lines near affected locations (bases, FEMA centers, community hubs)
Distribute supermarket gift cards and high-nutrition relief packages
Coordinate with local suppliers to stimulate local economic recovery
Offer personnel support for ongoing food distribution operations
➡ Purpose: Feed families now — in a dignified and dependable way.
STEP 3 — Sustain & Strengthen
We remain engaged beyond the first week of crisis — helping families stabilize and rebuild as support systems recover.
Key Actions:
Provide recurring food assistance until paychecks or services resume
Transition to long-term support programs through community partnerships
Track impact and publicly report results to ensure total transparency
Build preparedness plans so communities recover faster next time
➡ Purpose: Stronger people. Stronger communities. Long-term resilience.
